Dreaming is very much necessary. It allows us to think and visualize beyond what we see and perceive. It is an activity that happens when we don’t know anything and is an implicit action happening without our knowledge. Though we remember and learn from it.
Our dreams are extensions of what we want to do but can’t. They are unedited versions of our desires and wanted actions. However not all dreams are actionable ! And not all dreamers can put their dreams to actions. That’s when this beautiful poem by T.E. Lawrence brings the difference to light.
“All men dream; but not equally.
Those who dream by night in the dusty
recesses of their minds
Awake to find that it was vanity;
But the dreamers of day are dangerous men.
That they may act their dreams with open
eyes to make it possible.”
